Diabetes is commonly found among adults but it can be treated with local plant call Phyllanthus amarus in English, oyomokeso amanke edem in Efik, geeron-tsuntsaayee in Hausa, ngwu in ibo and olobe (eyin lolobe n so) in yoruba.
You can prepare it fresh or sun - dry for future use, to prepare the fresh one, boil it with water, for dried one, put few one inside jug and fill it with hot water for about 2 hours before use.
