A protest is ongoing in Ikere Ekiti now over poor electricity supply . According to the report gathered from DAILY POST a new transformer was recently provided for the town.
However, major components of the transformer were said to have been found missing this morning.
Some roads have been blocked by angry youths in Ikere Ekiti, who are demanding explanation from Benin Electricity Distribution Company, BEDC, officials
Travellers passing through Akure have been advised to seek alternative routes.
