No fewer than 47 people were feared dead last night from explosions in a mosque and a restaurant in Jos, the Plateau State capital.
There were explosions at a mosque on Dilimi Street and at a restaurant close to a motor park all happened along Bauchi Road in Jos North Local Government area.
Sixty-seven other people were wounded in the attacks on Sunday night and were being treated at hospitals, said National Emergency Management Agency coordinator Abdussalam Mohammed.
